   The video is quite simplistic. Even though I’ve always been a dyed-in-the-wool fan of pc’s since the advent of the 8088 few on here would know what that was, but it’s basically the first largescale PC processor, commonly known as the XT on which today’s PC market is founded on.

   I give credit to the Macintosh… they intented the computer graphical user interface, which Windows was developed to combat, but never really got popular until the 3.xx days as a DOS overlay.

   Macintosh pioneered the earliest most advanced photo and graphics manipulation software. They never quite captured the gaming market like Commodore’s AMIGA did, and then subsequently, the PC…. but it wasn’t for a lack of capability. If Apple would get it’s head out of it’s ass and allow licensed cloning of it’s platforms by other companies again, and lax it’s software licensing a little, it could well unseat Bill Gates as the king of the home/office computer empire.

   I DO find the final frame a bit irksome… “Windows XP kicks MAC’s ASS”
   First off, XP doesn’t kick ANYTHING’S ass… XP is, itself, a real pain in the ass.
   It will never enjoy the stability of Macintosh’s operating system. And it’s so commercial, and hell-bent on it’s integrational insistence that I find it very off-putting.

   That said, the PC still rules the home computer user market due to the availability of software. There is nothing a PC can’t do, when outfitted with the proper hardware and software. And for less than half the required investment in a Mac capable of the same.
   And just for the record…. LINUX kicks XP’s ASS!!

   This one didn’t really do anything for me. a Little too sophomoric.

   Now, if they had reversed the roles, and they should, THAT would be hilarious.

   Not the the plot, neccessarily, but give the buttoned guy the Pc role, and the finishing line “I run excel spreadsheet databse accounting clusters. I OWN you, literally!”

   Or just, I have a job now stop hitting on my wife!
